- Plastering: I offer a full lime plastering service using NHL, putty and hot mixed haired plasters.
- Cast plaster restoration e.g. ceiling roses and cornice work.
- Lime washing. I do internal and external lime washing using hot mixed lime wash.
- Stonemasonry: quoin, lintel and cills repaired or replaced.
- Stone repair: aged stone which is not quite past its sell by date can be sympathetically repaired with my own blend of specialist mortars and fillers made from crushed stone, marble dust and natural cement. I'm able to match the mortar to any stone or brick because I add small amounts of ochres and/or oxides.
- Brick and stone cleaning in the form of acid cleansing, soda blasting and DOFF cleaning.
- Paint removal. If you have unsightly and unsympathetic masonry paint covering stone then it can be removed to reveal the original stone or antique brickwork.
I also offer rustic plastering as per the photo below. This is very flush and very authentic to period properties. It straightens out old walls and allows stone to be show off whilst giving the light the opportunity to bounce off the plaster and brighten up any room.
