Internal work

When working with lime internally there are completely different light levels in comparison to outside. Usually stone cottages have small windows which translates to low light levels. Therefore, it's important to use the right kind of lime combined with a suitable blend of sand otherwise internally repointed feature walls can look drab.

In fact, unless a suitable mortar is chosen, the internal environment can end up looking like a cave. I've spent many years developing a suitable internal mortar which complements both brick and stone.
